Zurich UK life enhances protection proposition

28 July 2010

Zurich UK Life today announces a number of additions to its level protection proposition (LPP).

These latest enhancements are designed to appeal to a wide range of advisers and their clients who may need to make changes to their existing life cover when their circumstances change.

Zurich UK Life is now adding a renewable and convertible option to the guaranteed version of LPP for all applications received. This will enable customers to either renew or convert their policy at a later date, without the need for further medical evidence. The renewable option is available on life cover and critical illness cover, while the convertible option is available on life cover only.

Peter Hamilton, Protection Management Director , Zurich UK Life said:

"We recognise that people's circumstances change, and that over the term of a plan people's protection needs may change. It's vitally important that our proposition evolves to reflect these changing needs, and that's why we have introduced three renewable and convertible options to provide advisers and their clients with greater choice and flexibility."

These latest propositional enhancements follow the recent launch of additional support materials aimed at helping advisers communicate the benefits of protection.
